Hilel Tavakuli

Chef Hillel Tavakuli began his culinary career in Paris and acquired his diploma studies at Leiths School in London. 
He began his career as an intern at the Roux brothers "La Gavroche" restaurant in London, the first to receive three Michelin stars in the UK. From there he continued his path for several years in several other top restaurants in Europe where he specialized in Italian and Spanish cuisine, and acquired a full education in pastry.
Hillel's Israeli resume is rich and impressive, when in 2014 he was appointed head chef of Pastel Restaurant, which has become one of the leading restaurants in the country thanks to him.
In Animar Hillel cooks exciting food with a personal and authentic interpretation while using seasonal ingredients from all over the Mediterranean.

Darya restaurant (Kosher), located at the Hilton Tel Aviv, where Hillel serves the flavors of the Silk Road.
